Welcome to our Plasma & LCD TV reviews section. We believe the problem with other TV review sites is that they are usually affiliated with a TV retailer or price comparison site. So generally we find that their reviews hedge on the positive side, sometimes very significantly. Quite simply, because if you make a purchase, they make some money.

We have no such goal and achieve our financial aims in way that allows us to give genuine reviews. If a TV is a low specification we will make it plain! Also our reviews are purely based on the physical realities of a TV. So for example where another reviews web site might use highly emotive and product enhancing language like,

"... deep pixel cell structure, adding considerable color saturation..."

We use no such language that is clearly using the manufacturers promotional literature. So we would more likely quote and explain the physical attributes regarding picture quality and then explain the overall effect this would give and then give picture quality a score.You can then compare TVs more accurately to find which TV is best for you.

We hope you agree this much more objective and unbiased. We will then leave you to decide who the best retailer is for you.

In our opinion some features and attributes are worth a lot more than others. For example, 'Picture quality' is hugely more significant than 'Anything else'. Even some of the apparently vital topics like, 'Sound quality' are not as significant as they might at first seem.
